I have been going to Newman Vet since I moved here from Orlando 2 1/2 years ago. The office staff is wonderful and the vets are very nice and don't push added services. I have 7 rescue dogs and quite a few cats so have been several times and never had a bad experience. The vet and vet tech were so wonderful when I had to let my 19 year old kitty, Belle, go. I especially enjoyed my visit today as the office staff was gaga over a 4 week old kitten I found on my doorstep Friday morning. Thankfully, Twinkie is healthy and will be getting his shots in 4 weeks :) On most visits, I chat with other pet parents waiting so it's a nice atmosphere!
The vet was wonderful and took care of my cat. Did bloodwork and prescribed med to help. He wanted us to come back in a month telling us it would only cost $40.00 to re -do that portion of bloodwork where the issue was and he would not charge for another visit. Returned in a month and spoke to 3 different people there about what the vet said. The same vet was on duty. Upon getting my kitties bloodwork and speaking to the same vet I was ready for check out. Well low and behold the bill was $130.00. I was told that the vet does not quote prices and blood tests cost what the blood test cost . Too bad because the vet did a good job but the management reps lost a customer.
This will be our vet for life. Thank you.
We brought in our very old dog who extremely regrettably had to be put down for reasons too terrible to list in this forum.
These people are the most compassionate and efficient I have ever dealt with in the veterinary field.
The doctor did not put us through a lot of painful questioning and there was no judgment shown whatsoever. With just one look at our poor dog he agreed that there was no other loving option for him.
My grown daughter has gotten a new kitten to help her deal with the pain and void she now feels, and she will be bringing her kitten to Newman Veterinary Centers in Deltona as well.
They are together now, and as hard as this has been for me, having just taken place mere days ago, I truly don't believe any other hospital or center could have handled the situation any better and still treated us with such dignity after having to put down a family member who had degenerated so terribly and so quickly.

I held my dog until his last breath and I did not take it well.
The ladies at the front desk saw to it that we were brought in the back immediately and we were quickly attended to.
I have been taking my baby boy "Bubba" to Newman's for the past 7 years. They have kept him up on all his shots and everything else that is important to his health all this time and his blood work came back 100% good yesterday. Dr. Oliver and his extremely knowledgeable and caring staff are the "BEST"! If you need a Veterinarian for your pet, don't hesitate to rely on Newman Veterinary Clinic for all your baby's needs.

The doctor was very kind and comforting, and he said all the right things to make it possible for me to let go of my dog so my husband and the assistant could place him in his coffin-shaped container as we had asked to take him home to bury next to his sister who had passed years earlier from a blood issue she had had since she was born.
