I'm editing my review. This school is not only cheap, it's absolutely horrible! I try to find my brother so we can ride the bus, they wouldn't let me on cus of who knows. I almost lost my stuff, my backpack, my school work, everything! Coach Coy or whatever his name is is an absolute tyrant and the rest of the staff are no better. I was just tempting to walk. Absolutely disgraceful. If any of the staff read this, don't try and screw with me again.
When I first started here, I thought good things would happen, but i was wrong. The students have no respect, dressing inappropriately everyday, destroying school property and always clogging the bathrooms. The school is always dirty, their gardening is horrible they barely have grass, most of the time the classroom is always have sand on the floor. The lunches they serve us is a mystery, if you want some really good food that they serve they charge about $2.00 for a slice of "Actual" pizza, their vending Machines are always down or broken which has happened several times when I was there. The bathrooms, the gym locker rooms are "Disgusting"!!!! the paint they use is so "Cheap" the students can chip it off! The boy's locker room is horrific, the lockers are broken, not clean at all, None of them use the showers in there. When we vote for Mr. and Mrs. DHS we have no clue who these candidates are, and that's another thing this school chooses favorites what I mean by that is They always choose the ones that are smart or in the Dhs team (football team ETC) they only care about your "GPA" not your well being. The Admin office is corrupted, they don't care at all, when the baddest kids get in trouble they give them a "tap on the wrist" instead of punishing them or expelling them, but when you get in trouble for the first time they suspend you other than giving you a warning. The staff in the school is really ridiculous, The teachers that work there either "Don't have experience" "Cant teach the students at all" and last but not least "Have an Attitude". There are some teachers that care for their students and that's "Rare". This school might not have funding at all, the only time they changed things was the lunchroom and the basketball field that about it. We have prep-relies that waste the students time and they always take place at the field or the gym (they are far away from the bus loop). We Barely have clubs here, if you want to be in a club they have to see your grades other than join in. We have outdated computers while the tv production have "Mac's" which is totally unfair to the rest of the students. When we have prom or other special occasions we have to spend about $60-$90 to participate in it. There is also graffiti on the brick walls and they don't take care of it. When we won the cool school of the week, they "Select" the students not everyone. we had to pay $15 for our parking spot and pay for it again next semester its a rip off. This school ain't how it used to be it be best if this school had been "updated" or "have new management"

Since, the New Principle Mrs. C. Deltona High School has changed for the better and positive. Advice to all the ones that notice all the bad stuff, keep your eyes on your grades, set your eyes on your goals.
3/4 of the students here do drugs and soon all of them will, they jry to influence others to do so as well it's really bad, DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT GO THERE
